Sturla Brandth Grøvlen

Sturla Brandth Grøvlen is;
Norwegian with a funny name and an easygoing, calm Scandinavian temperament. He lives and works out of Copenhagen, Denmark, where he graduated from the Danish Film School in 2011. Starting out mostly shooting documentaries, his career got a kick-start when he won the Silver Bear for Best Cinematography at 2015 Berlinale for the one-take film VICTORIA. Proving that he was not a one-take-wonder, Sturla was awarded the Silver Frog at Camerimage for the deadpan Icelandic drama-comedy RAMS. Sturla has shot features, commercials and feature films all over Europe and in the US. He has an adaptable poetic and sensitive mind that is eager to support directors with a strong vision.
